The play back singer, Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao well-known as Ghantasala was alive during 1922 –1974. Mainly, he worked for Telugu cinema. Besides, he sang quite a few songs in Tamil and Kannada films. Ghantasala was honored with prestigious ‘Padmashri’ award in 1970 for his playback singing contribution to Indian cinema.
The divine talent of Ghantala is ever appreciated.
