Nayanathara, an Indian actress is by origin a Malayali Orthodox Christian. Her birth place is Bengaluru of Karnataka state. Her father, Mr. Kurian was an Indian Air Force official. As his father had to move to different places in India on his duty, Nayana Thara Had her schooling in various places in North India. Her mother, Mrs.Omana Kurian is a housewife and only elder brother, Mr Leno is living in Dubai with his family. While her home town is Tiruvalla of Kerala, at present ,she lives in Chennai with her family.

  Birth / School/College 

Nayanthara was born on 18, November 1984 in Bangalore, Karnataka. She did her primary school education In Jamnagar,Gujarat and Delhi.And then in Tiruvalla, she completed her schooling at Balikamadom Girls Higher Secondary School. Nayanthara studied B.A(litt) in English at Marthoma College .

Cine Career

subsequently, Nayanthara started pursuing her career in the cinema industry. As she wanted to launch herself in to movies, she began getting chances. First, she got an opportunity in the Tamil movie.In 2005, she made her debut in the film’Ayya’. With that movie, she got an appreciation from the people in and out of industry. Later, she acted in director Vasu’s film ‘Chandra Mukhi’. As everyone knows, it became super hit. With the movie, she got large popularity.  Subsequently, she performed a secondary female role in A R Murugadoss’ Ghajini.

Nayanthara Telugu Debut

Continuing her successful career, Nayanathara next stepped in to Tollywood and made her debut in the movie’Lakshmi’ paired with Victory Venkatesh. After that, she acted in couple of movies such as’Boss’ and ‘I Love You’.

In 2010, Nayanathara performed in Telugu movies such as ‘Adhurs’, and ‘Simha’. Both were big commercial hits.
Also, she got a wonderful opportunity to act in the mythological film’ Sri Rama Rajyam’ directed by Bapu. And the movie released in 2011. In that film, she played the role of Sita. She was acclaimed for her performance in the film. Playing the role of Sita, Nayanathara also felt that she had achieved something great in her life time. Subsequently, she was awarded the Nandi Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress.

Nayan Thara made her come back with the movie ”Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ released in 2012. And Krish directed the film. In this movie,she performed as a journalist.Really, everyone praised her portrayal in the movie. Also, her chemistry worked out well with Rana.

Besides ,Nayana Thara became so popular that she got opportunities to act in heroine-oriented films. In connection with that,she signed for Shekhar Kammula’s movie ‘Anamika’. Though the film didn’t perform well at the box office, she received praises from both cine critics and audience. No doubt, her perforformance was simply superb.

By birth, Nayanathra was a christian. By the degrees of time, she converted to Hinduism at the Arya Samaj temple in Chennai. And,  Nayanthara Profile interests the movie lovers a great deal because of her romantic relation with Prabhu Deva. In fact, Nayan had been in relation with Actor Prabhu Deva till 2012. Both were living in relationship for many years. Later,They broke up their relation because of the disruptions created by his wife.
