The actress belongs to Sikh family and was born in Bathinda. Her father does agriculture, and her mother is a domestic engineer. And she has a younger brother named Gurfateh Pirzada, who is also a model and actor. She had her early schooling in Mayo College Girls School,Ajmer. Mehreen completed her high school at Pathways World School,Gurugram.

During her schooldays, she extended her services for the NCC. Besides,she was an active member of the International Rotary Club and acted as a Vice President at School Interact Club. Also, Mehreen Kaur Pirzada  trained well in Bharatnatyam. In addition to that, she is a national air pistol shooter.

Mehreen Kaur Pirzada, at the age of 10 years, performed her first ramp walk and got the title of ‘Kasauli Princess’ at a beauty pageant. She later won Miss Personality South Asia Canada 2013 in Toronto. She did modelling assignments for popular designers through Jemini Face Modeling company and acted in many a commercial ads in Canada and India. Meherene is also the Face of Dove India ,The Dove Foundation India (International Print), and endorses Nikon, Pears and Thums Up on TVC & print media.

The Telugu movie ‘Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha‘ was her debut film in which she acted alongside the actor, Nani. It released in 2016. It recorded a super hit at the box office and also it became a huge hit in the U.S box office. Later, Mehreen Kaur Pirzada made her debut with the Hindi movie ‘Phillauri’ alongside Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma. The movie released  in 2017.

Mehreen  played the character of Mahalakshmi. She is currently shooting for two Telugu and one Tamil movie, set for release later this year.
